Martha, My Mom (Verna) and I were so saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Mel. You have both been life-long dear friends of my parents, and I have fond memories of both of you sitting on the sofa in my childhood home, adding life and laughter to the room. Also my parents enjoyed so much the many tours they took with you, and my son Tim (and brother Derrick) had the unique privilege of joining a busload of seniors when they were young teenagers and being thoroughly spoiled by you all. Our hearts go out to you in your loss and pray for comfort for you and your family. We rejoice with you in the living hope of the Resurrection.
My mom doesn't seem to have any contact information for you, phone or address, so if you don't hear from her personally it will be because we aren't able to access that.
Much love and sympathy from Parry Sound.
love, Elaine

I, too, will miss my dear Uncle Mel. I love Uncle Mel's engaging smile and big, kind heart. He always made me feel welcome and comfortable in his presence, which I'm sure everyone can say because that is how he was! Louie, our children and I always enjoyed having dinner with Uncle Mel and Aunt Martha at their hotel restaurant when they brought a bus tour through Los Angeles every year. My condolences and prayers to the family. Love you.

Our deepest sympathy goes to Martha and family.
We've had the privilege of working with Mel & Martha for many years!
They had such passion for sharing their knowledge and experiences in the travel industry with their many passengers whom they called family.
Mel always had big smiles and never ending energy with every person he came into contact with.
He will be dearly missed by many!

We'll surely miss our dear Uncle Mel. He reminded me a great deal of my Dad. I loved his wonderful stories about growing up in Elmira and how he looked up to his brother Elo. He made us laugh with his terrific sense of humour and we always enjoyed our visits together.
My prayers are with all of you.
Love, Donna
