Obituary of Ross Denton Brubacher

Brubacher, Ross Ross Denton Brubacher passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at the age of 57 years. Following a last visit with his mother and brother, his loving staff assured him his purpose of bringing good into the world was fulfilled and that his dad was waiting for him. He died calmly and securely in the arms of a loving staff member. Ross lived and died with much love surrounding him, leaving his biological and Reid Woods families with many happy memories. Predeceased by his father Curtis, Ross is survived by his mother Alice (Snider) Brubacher and siblings Lorrie (Dan Perlman), Maurice, and Sanford (Colette), four nieces and nephews, four great nieces and nephews, Erin Strain and many other loving staff and friends from Reid Woods. The family wishes to thank and acknowledge the love, care, and friendship provided by his Reid Woods family since 1991. Cremation has taken place. Friends are welcome to attend the burial at 9 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2017 in the St. Jacobs Mennonite Cemetery, 2035 Three Bridges Road, RR 1, St. Jacobs. Visitation and viewing of photos of Ross' life at 10 a.m., at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, with a memorial service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel and reception to follow.
