Obituary of Gordon Elmer Weber
Passed away with family by his side at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Monday, September 3, 2018, at the age of 93 years.
Gordon Weber was the beloved husband of the late Audrey (Bauman) Weber (2013). Loving father of Stuart and Lois, Murray and Charlene, and Bert and Jo-Anne, all of Elmira. Devoted grandfather of Kimberly (Steve) Fyke, Nicholas (Rachel) Weber, Christina (Trevor) Page, Tim (Elena) Weber-Kraljevski, Jen (Brent) Weber, and Jeff (Emily) Weber, and seven great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sister-in-law Alice (Mrs. Ralph) Weber. He was predeceased by his parents Allen and Laura (Scheidel) Weber, siblings Sylvia (Homer) Schwindt, Vernon (Ruby) Weber, and Ralph Weber.
Gordon farmed on the 12th of Peel for much of his life and had a great passion for maple syrup production.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 4 p.m. at Floradale Mennonite Church, 22 Florapine Rd., Floradale. Interment will take place in Elmira Mennonite Cemetery.
