Obituary of Alvin R Bauman

Bauman, Alvin R. Died peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at the age of 95 years. Husband of the late Anna (Martin) Bauman (2014). Father of Orvie and Salema Bauman of RR 3, Ariss, Irene and Donald Martin of RR 2, Clifford, (the late Edgar) and Verna Bauman of RR 3, Listowel, Verna and Paul Bauman of RR 2, Drayton, Earl and Almeda Bauman of St Jacobs. Survived by 33 grandchildren and 80 great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Helen (Mrs. Irvin) Bauman and Samuel and Melvina Martin. Stepbrother of Alice (Mrs. Noah) Weber and stepbrother-in-law of Melinda (Mrs. Clayton) Brubacher. He was predeceased by his parents Ezra and Magdalena (Reist) Bauman, stepfather Israel Brubacher, sons Lester (in infancy) and Edgar (2009), three great-grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, three stepbrothers and five stepsisters. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, Also viewing will take place on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 1-6 p.m. at the home, 2990 Sawmill Rd., St. Jacobs, where a family service will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2018, then to Martin's Mennonite Meeting House, Waterloo, for burial and further service. www.dreisingerfuneralhome.com
