My deepest condolences to Liz's family, to lose such a beautiful woman from your lives, my heart breaks for you. Liz always spoke about her family, shared memories and pictures and was especially proud of her brothers. I'm sure that she misses you already. She loved being part of the Alder family.
I was lucky to have Liz in my life for the past 42yrs. We met in grade 10 and have been great friends ever since. No one has ever made me laugh as hard or as long as Liz has, she was the funniest person I've ever met. Liz had many special qualities that touched people's lives wherever she went. Everyone who met her, loved her. She was an amazing person, friend, daughter, sister, mother and more. Every summer we got together for a mini vacation, shared our lives, reminisced about the good old days and laughed til our sides hurt. In between we sent cards and letters, emailed, phoned and texted, i loved having her in my life. I don't know what I will do without her in my life anymore. There is a void in my life and my heart now that no one will be able to fill. I was lucky to have you Liz, my dearest greatest friend. I will never forget you and will always miss you and love you.

My thoughts are with you in this time of sorrow. I have so many memories of Liz as we were best friends throughout our teenage and early adult years. We had so much fun and she was the greatest. We drifted apart as we got older, but I will always remember and cherish those days.
My deepest sympathy;
Cathy Brown (Giese)

I had not seen Liz since the early 90s when we worked on several archaeological projects together. I remember her as always having a great personality and smile. My deepest condolences to you, her family for this tragic and unexpected loss.

My deepest and sincerest condolences go out to Alma, Russell and family. Although life sent Liz and I in opposite directions, she will forever remain a wonderful part of my youth and some of my most precious memories. For me, it will be her infectious smile (even her eyes sparkled) and her great sense of humour I will remember most. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you walk through these darkest days together. I hope you find comfort in each other and in all the love that surrounds you.
Thanks for all the great times Liz, for making me laugh so hard my cheeks hurt, for all the memories and your friendship. May you find peace and happiness in Heaven blessed in knowing how much you were loved here on Earth. Forever your friend.....
Love always,
Lynn Bernard

I was following the news and hoping in vain given the name and age. It was some time since I had seen Liz in person but things would pop up regularly given a shared past. Words can not express how I am feeling now and my grief is limited to the loss of an old friend from my childhood. May loving memories wrap you in a blanket of comfort to ease you through this incredible loss.
