Obituary of Grace Ella Martin

Martin, Grace Ella Passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Toronto on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at the age of 68 years. Grace Martin, of Elmira, was the beloved mother of Jeff Martin (Sheri Koch) and Leigh Anne Martin (Adam Pyle). Loved grandmother of Sommer, Jenna, Finley, Ashlyn, and Carter. Lovingly remembered by Peter Syrier. Dear sister of Leona Martin and Frank Martin. She was predeceased by her parents Cleason and Malinda (Hoffman) Martin, and an infant brother Walter. Grace was a lifelong piano teacher in the region. She was an active member of her community and her friendship and counsel will be missed by many. Visitation for relatives and friends will take place on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Elmira Mennonite Church, 58 Church St. W., Elmira. Interment will follow in St. Jacobs Mennonite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Regional Cancer Centre or Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated.
