Obituary of Lovina Bauman

Bauman Lovina (Mrs. Amzie) Peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the age of 97 years. Dear wife of the late Amzie Bauman (1991). Beloved mother of Mervin and Mary of RR 4, Listowel, George and Arlene of Elmira, and mother-in-law of Erma Bauman of RR 3, Wallenstein, Naomi and Albert Frey of Hawkesville, Anna and Glen Horst of RR 4, Elmira, Maynard and Diane of RR 1, Gowanstown, Cleon and Carol of RR 2, Elmira, Ellen and Vernal Martin of RR 1, Elmira. Survived by 51 grandchildren, 153 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Viola and Seranus Brubacher (1995), and her son Orlan (2002). Lovina was the last surviving member of the David S. Brubacher and Sussanah Gingrich family, having been predeceased by 3 sisters, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters in infancy. Visitation was held at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, on Thursday evening, and will be held today, Friday, August 30, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a family service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 9 a.m. then to Elmira Mennonite Meeting House for burial and further public service. Service Summary Visitation: Thursday, August 29, 2013 7-9 p.m., Friday, August 30, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home ~ Family service at the funeral home Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 9 a.m. then to Elmira Mennonite Meeting House for burial and further public service.
